Step 1
Remove the black cap (turn counterclockwise and pull) and insert the blade until it snaps into place. |

Step 2
Unscrew the plastic blade cover with one full turn. Put on a black cap; Tighten clockwise to fix. |

Step 3
Set the puncture depth: 1-7 (1 shallowest puncture; 7 deepest puncture).

Step 4
Pull the tensioning button until it clicks. Hold the lancet in a stable position by touching the side of the finger. Press the round release button of the lock. |

Step 5
To remove the blade, remove the black cap (see Step 1). Place the plastic blade cover on the hard surface with the recess facing up. Press the tip of the blade firmly into the casing. If necessary, pull the tension button until it clicks. This will prepare the lancet, which will allow the blade to extend effectively. Move the blade ejection button forward until the blade gets out from the device. Undo the blade ejection button. |
