What are cookies?
Cookie files (cookies) are small text information files stored on the end device (computer, smartphone, etc.), that can collect and record information about the user (personalized and - usually - non-personalized, i.e. not identifying a natural person), such as metadata of the device from which you connect to the website, type of web browser used, location data, way of navigating the website.

For what purpose and on what basis we use cookies

• adjusting the website to the user's preferences (files recording such settings as, for example, language, region, opened subpages, other activities on the administrator's website),
• improving the quality and efficiency of the website and its individual elements (using files collected for analytical and statistical purposes, measuring, for example, the frequency of visits to individual subpages, the time spent on browsing them),
• marketing, aimed at increasing the sales volume of products through, among others, the use of marketing tools based on the processing of cookies.

In connection with the purposes described, the administrator may process, among others, the following data and metadata: about the device that you use to browse the website, including information about the operating system and a unique IP identifier, type of web browser, location.

The administrator uses, among others, the following marketing tools:

• Google ads - in order to better match the ads to the preferences of users, the Administrator uses cookies that collect only basic information about the behavior of users on the Diabetyk24.pl website and their interests. All information is anonymous, and its purpose is to best match the user's preferences with advertisements displayed in the Google search engine, as well as on other websites, using tools such as Google AdWords and DoubleClick. • remarketing - one of the options offered by Google in the Google AdWords service, which consists of displaying text and image ads on various websites or - in the case of the so-called dynamic remarketing – advertisements containing, for example, products that you have viewed on the Diabetyk24.pl website;
• Facebook ads - in order to better target advertisements and tailor the message to a specific group of users and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns conducted on Facebook, the Administrator uses Facebook cookies, which are used to present ads and recommend offers and products to people who may be interested in them. The user may at any time adjust the displayed ads to his preferences. More information about the service can be found on the Facebook website;
• analysis using Google Analytics - to better understand the intentions of users, the Administrator uses Google cookies, which anonymously collect only basic information about user activity on the Diabetyk24.pl portal and are used to report traffic sources, analyze user behavior on the website and to test effectiveness of the promotional activities.
  Due to the fact that the Administrator uses marketing tools provided by Google, personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, including to USA.
  The Administrator ensures that the transfer of data to entities operating in the USA takes place with the use of appropriate safeguards and is based on an appropriate agreement between the Administrator and such entity, which contains standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

Right to object

In the case of processing your data for analytical, statistical, and marketing purposes, you have the right to object.

Objection to the processing of your personal data - if such data is processed - will result in the immediate suspension of processing for this purpose.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body - the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (current contact details are available at: https://www.uodo.gov.pl/en) and the right to use legal protection remedies before a court.

With regard to other rights (deletion, modification of data, processing restrictions), you alone decide what data is recorded on the devices you use when connecting to the Diabetyk24.pl website.
