Urea - a key ingredient of prodiab FOOT CREAM is one of the main constituents of the natural moisturizing factor (NMF), which is responsible for proper hydration of the epidermal stratum corneum. Makes the skin smooth and firm. The effect of urea is to increase the permeability of the stratum corneum of the epidermis, facilitating the absorption of water and active ingredients into the skin cells. As a result, skin cells retain water and skin becomes softer and better hydrated. Urea deficiency results in dry skin with a tendency to keratosis. At a concentration of 10% urea also has antimicrobial properties.
Prodiab's protective effect on the feet is due to the use of silver, which has very strong bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal properties. Thanks to the use of finely grounded silver to the level of microparticles, its effectiveness is unmatched. Microparticles have a much larger active surface, thus greatly enhancing the potential of the biocidal cream.
