Abra control solution

The ABRA control solution is an aqueous solution of glucose with a low content of inert ingredients and a food coloring agent, designed to check the accuracy of the ABRA Blood Glucose Meter Kit.

Test with the control solution is performed in order to determine if:

• ABRA blood glucose meter and test strips are functioning properly
• the results are reliable

USAGE

Control solution is an aqueous glucose solution with a small amount of non-reactive components and food colors to verify the accuracy of the Blood Glucose Meter Kit. The test solution checks the performance of the meter, the test strip and the user's technique.
 
WHEN YOU SHOULD PERFORM A CONTROL SOLUTION TEST

• When you use the meter for the first time.
• When you use a new batch of test strips.
• Whenever you have doubts about the functioning of the device or regularly to ensure accuracy (eg once a week).
• When you set your plan to take medication for diabetes.
• When the glucose test result is lower or higher than normal.
