Suprasorb P polyurethane foam adhesive dressing is a dressing consisting of two layers of polyurethane: carrier and foam. Each dressing is individually packed, ready to use and sterilized with Gamma rays. Suprasorb P polyurethane foam adhesive dressing is for single use and can not be re-sterilized.
Suprasorb P polyurethane foam dressing is made in such a
way that, thanks to its absorbent properties, it provides the optimum
conditions for medium-exuding surface wounds. While absorbing secretion,
the bandage slightly stretches and thus optimally covers the wound.
Under polyurethane foam dressing Suprasorb P an optimal
moist environment in the wound is created, which prevents the dressing from
sticking to the wound.
Changing the dressing does not damage the tissue. The
Suprasorb P polyurethane foam dressing is extremely flexible and
therefore suitable for use in hard-to-reach areas of the body.
Fixing the Suprasorb P dressing
The
doctor should decide on the frequency of dressing changes depending on
the state of the wound and the intensity of the exudate, change at the
latest after 5-7 days. Dressing should be changed when the coloration reaches the edge of the wound.
